A native of New Jersey, Professor Daley attended Fordham and Oxford, where he studied classics and philosophy. After joining the Jesuits, he studied theology in Frankfurt-am-Main, then returned to Oxford for doctoral studies. He has taught patristic theology in Cambridge, MA and here at Notre Dame since then. He specializes in early Christology.
