I am a medieval historian interested in European and Near Eastern cultural, intellectual, and Jewish and Christian religious history from Late Antiquity through the High Middle Ages with a particular focus on the intersection of medieval chronicles and notions of the supernatural. My research deals primarily with questions of belief and historicity, drawing from the disciplines of theology, history, and literature.
