Bell, Dean, Chief Academic Officer, and Professor of History, Spertus Institute of Jewish Studies, will speak as part of the Seminar in Early Modern History sponsored by the Newberry Library Center for Renaissance Studies. This program is free and open to the public; registration in advance is required. The paper will be precirculated electronically to registered participants.
 
Faculty members and graduate students from member institutions of the Center for Renaissance Studies consortium (which includes the University of Notre Dame) may be eligible to apply for travel funding to attend this program. See the Newberry web site for travel funding details.
