“Of Judges and Jewelers: The Middle English Pearl and the Life of Saint John”

Susanna Fein is Professor of English, Coordinator of the Ancient, Medieval, and Renaissance Studies Minor, and Fellow of the Institute for Bibliography and Editing at Kent State University. Her research focuses on the literatures, languages, and manuscripts of medieval England, ca. 1100-1500. Prof. Fein edits The Chaucer Review, and has authored many articles and book chapters, along with monographs on John the Blind Audelay, Poems and Carols (2009) and Moral Love Songs and Laments (1998).
