Sarah McNamer Lecture

Sarah McNamer, Associate Professor of English and Medieval Studies, Georgetown University, is interested in the relation between literature and the history of emotion. Her 2010 book Affective Meditation and the Invention of Medieval Compassion received the Book of the Year award from the Conference on Christianity and Literature. Her book-in-progress is entitled Medieval Feeling: Middle English Literature and the History of Emotion.
