“Editing Notker: Challenges and Discovery”

Calvin M. Bower (Professor Emeritus of Music, University of Notre Dame) has prepared an edition of the texts and music of the Notkerian sequences that is forthcoming from the Henry Bradshaw Society. He is the author of an annotated translation of Boethius’ The Fundamental of Music and is the editor of the Glossa maaior in Institutionem musicam Boethii (with Michael Bernhard).
