David T. Gura, Curator of Medieval & European Manuscripts, Early Imprints, History of the Book, University of Notre Dame Rare Books & Special Collections, will offer a research colloquium. His chief areas of interest lie in Latin paleography and western codicology, the reception of classical auctores in the Middle Ages, and commentary traditions and manuscript formats.

Once or twice each semester, a Medieval Institute faculty member or advanced graduate student presents his or her research for collegial discussion in the MI Research Colloquium series.
