Exhibit Opening

5:00 p.m.   Welcome by Diane Parr Walker, University Librarian

5:15 p.m.   Lecture by David T. Gura, Curator of Ancient and Medieval Manuscripts, Early Imprints & History of the Book

Reception and open viewing of the exhibit will follow the lecture.

Curator David Gura will share details about the ongoing effort to reconstruct a 15th-century Book of Hours that had been cut apart into individual leaves and auctioned off to buyers around the world. For more information on the project, see http://www.library.nd.edu/rarebooks/exhibits/.

The exhibit will remain open to the public (Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) until August 16, 2013.
