“Heralds, Printers, and Humanists: Techniques of Publication in Early Modern Rome”

Margaret Meserve, Associate Professor of History (ND), specializes in the intellectual and cultural history of the Italian Renaissance. Her current project is on the circulation of news and propaganda in Italy in the first decades after the arrival of print (ca. 1470-1527).

Prof. Meserve’s lecture is part of the Italian Research Seminar cosponsored by the Devers Program in Dante Studies and Italian Studies at Notre Dame.
