The Medieval Institute and the Keough-Naughton Institute for Irish Studies present a graduate seminar with Marie-Luise Theuerkauf, O'Donovan Scholar at the School of Celtic Studies, Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies. In 2012, Theuerkauf was the inaugural Murphy Irish Exchange Fellow at the Keough-Naughton Institute for Irish Studies at Notre Dame; she completed her Ph.D. at University College Cork in 2015. Theuerkauf will speak on her current work with the corpus of placename lore known as Dindshenchas Érenn (Lore of Imminent Places) and on how to move from dissertation to postdoc research and beyond.

The seminar starts at 10 a.m. in the Medieval Institute seminar room (Hesburgh Library 715J) and lunch will be provided by Au Bon Pain. Please reserve your spot (and choose your lunch!) by September 20th via tinyurl.com/theuerkauf
