Schola Musicorum Concert: Abend-Musique XLVII

The Notre Dame Schola Musicorum was founded in 1993 by faculty and students in the Music Department to study and perform Gregorian chant from medieval manuscripts. Every school year the ensemble performs a concert in the fall and in the spring. On Oct. 11 the ensemble presents its 47th program which will feature classics of the Gregorian chant literature as well as rarely heard works, such as sequences and hymns performed in the improvised harmonic technique known as faburden.
