Join Irini de Saint Sernin of the Société des Bollandistes for a presentation on the Society's ongoing work on the Acta Sanctorum. The Bollandist Society is a Jesuit research institute dedicated to the critical study of Greek, Latin, Oriental and vernacular hagiographic literature as well as to the history of the saints and their cults.

The Society's genesis goes back to 1607 in Antwerp, Belgium, and it undertook the publication of the most authoritative collection of works on saints: the Acta Sanctorum. Today, the Bollandists, using their unique library in Brussels, continue the work of their forebears, critically analyzing the extensive literature on thousands of saints in Eastern and Western Christianity.

Let's discover their history and their present work, and also their plans and concerns for the future.
