EAP Workshop | Women in Academia
As in most other socioeconomic spheres, women in academia tend to face greater challenges than their male counterparts. This workshop is designed to introduce international graduate students to the state of academia from the point of view of gender. Tenure rates, wage gaps, sexual harassment, and paid leave will be discussed with an eye towards striking the right balance between desired outcomes and realistic expectations.
