Author: Medieval Institute

As part of the University of Notre Dame’s response to COVID-19, operations at the Medieval Institute have been modified.

All Events Canceled or Postponed

All Medieval Institute-hosted events are canceled or postponed through the end of April. Working groups will make individual decisions about whether to hold their meetings by Zoom.

Reading Room Access

The Hesburgh Libraries has implemented reduced hours and access. Visit Hesburgh Libraries COVID-19 Service Continuity for current hours of operation. As of March 16, 2020, the Hesburgh Library is open only from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, and can only be entered at these times by swiping your Irish1 card at the east or west entrances and entering your pin. The Medieval Institute reading rooms are open during these times to those who can enter the building.
