Profile

In the 2021–22 academic year, I completed a one-year research project on Calcidius' account of fate and providence and his relation to his Stoic and Middle Platonic predecessors. This project was supervised by Professor John Magee (University of Toronto). In 2023–24, I completed an M.A. research project on Gregory of Nyssa's transformation of Origen's account of providence, which was supervised by Professor George Boys-Stones (University of Toronto). In 2025–26, I completed a commentary on Book Epsilon of Aristotle's Metaphysics as an M.A. thesis for the Dalhousie Classics Department, which was supervised by Professor Eli Diamond (Dalhousie University). I plan to continue researching the topic of fate and providence in Medieval Philosophy with a particular focus on Eriugena's De divina praedestinatione.
