Profile

My main area of study is early Muslim philosophy and the forging period of philosophical models and doctrines in the lands of Islam, focusing on divine causation and ontology in Liber de causis and Arabic Plotinus. I am also interested in Ibn Sina’s philosophy and its Latin reception, alongside medieval Aristotelianism East and West. Being a passionate high school teacher for years, I am also interested in the philosophy of education, as well as the political and social aspects of youth life.
