Virtual Lecture: Warren Zev Harvey (Hebrew U of Jerusalem), "Maimonides on Legislating the Love and Awe of God"

The Department of Theology and the Medieval Institute present a talk by Warren Zev Harvey, professor emeritus in the Department of Jewish Thought at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and author of Physics and Metaphysics in Hasdai Crescas. Prof. Harvey will address a key question in Moses Maimonides's codification of medieval Jewish theology: what is the nature of our emotional obligation to the divine?
