Join the Medieval Institute and Saint Augustine Parish-South Bend, for a pilgrimage to Chicago where we will walk in the footsteps of Venerable Augustus Tolton (1854-97), the first Black Catholic priest to be ordained for the United States. Fr. Tolton is one of the six African-American candidates for sainthood.

Following our webinar series on pilgrimage, we will put into motion what we've learned by making our way to the Tolton Spirituality Center in Chicago. We will visit the place of his death to reflect on the meaning of his life and ministry.

Space is limited. Check back for information about reserving your seat on the pilgrimage bus!
