The Medieval Institute and the College of Arts and Letters invite applications for a tenured or tenure-track position in digital humanities and pre-modern studies. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. (or the equivalent) in the humanities and a reputation of scholarly achievement sufficient for appointment in a relevant department in the College of Arts and Letters (Art, Art History, and Design; Classics; English; any of the college’s language departments; History; Philosophy; or Theology).

The successful candidate will also have a well-established reputation in digital humanities scholarship, with a specialization in any discipline of ancient, medieval, or early modern European/Mediterranean studies, as well as a successful record of external funding to support digital humanities research.
