Application window opens for fall internal research grants
The application window is now open for both the Research and Scholarship Program – Initiation Grant and Regular Grant. These grants aim to support Notre Dame faculty researchers and programs that advance the University’s research enterprise, scholarly output, and creative endeavors through a competitive funding process, with a particular emphasis on elevating excellent projects that fall outside the typical scope of external research funding agencies.
Patricia L. Clark, associate vice president for research and Rev. John Cardinal O'Hara Professor in the University of Notre Dame's Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry, said, “Notre Dame Research is pleased to once again offer this funding opportunity. I invite all regular faculty members to apply, particularly those with bold ideas for enhancing knowledge, improving technologies, solving society’s hardest problems, and pursuing the common good.”
The deadline to apply for either program is 11:59 p.m. EDT on Thursday, October 3, 2023. Additional details about these opportunities are below.
