Congratulations to Medieval Studies Librarian Dr. Julia Schneider on receiving the 2024 Rev. Paul J. Foik, C.S.C., Award!

Congratulations, Julia Schneider, winner of the 2024 Rev. Paul J. Foik, C.S.C., Award.

The annual award honors a library faculty member who has contributed significantly to the Notre Dame community and the library profession through personal scholarship and substantive engagement in professional associations.

Schneider is the Hesburgh Libraries Scholarly Resources and Assessment Librarian for Arts, Humanities, and Architecture. She is also the Subject Specialist for Medieval Studies and subject liaison for German Language and Literature.

In the citation shared for her nomination, Schneider is described as “dazzling in the knowledge of her subject areas and dogged in her dedication to helping others and solving problems.” Read the full citation.
