VIDEO: "Game Day 2023: Irish Dance (Ceíli) Tailgate"

Earlier this fall, the Medieval Institute and the Keough-Naughton Institute for Irish Studies co-hosted a festive tailgate that celebrated traditional Irish culture through a game-day céilí. Acclaimed sean-nós performer Professor Shannon Dunne provided dance instruction to attendees while the Notre Dame Céilí Band accompanied with live music! True to historical céilí tradition, students and faculty of the Medieval Institute will also presented stories and poetry from the Middle Ages between dance sessions.
