Reydams-Schils specializes in the traditions of Platonism and Stoicism. She is the author of Demiurge and Providence, Stoic and Platonist Readings of Plato's Timaeus (Brepols, 1999); An Anthology of Snakebites: On Women, Love and Philosophy (Seven Bridges Press, 2001); and The Roman Stoics: Self, Responsibility, and Affection(University of Chicago Press, 2005). She is the editor of Plato's Timaeus as Cultural Icon (Notre Dame 2003), of Thinking Through Excerpts: Studies on Stobaeus(Brepols, 2011) and of Pouvior et puissances chez Philon d'Alexandrie (Brepols 2016). She directs the Notre Dame Workshop on Ancient Philosophy.
